Wayward Strand is a heartfelt emotional narrative game woven together from many distinct threads. They all unfold simultaneously in an airborne hospital in 1970s Australia.
Wayward Strand lets you take the part of Casey Beaumaris, an adolescent girl that visits the hospital for the first experience. She’ll be exploring the ship’s history, its people, and the relationships with them in the coming three days.
It is possible to explore the ship’ rooms and talk to those who have a fascinating and unique lifestyle. You can also join the crew and look around as she explores the ship in search of some of the mysteries that lie in its dark history.
The patients at the hospital comprise unpredictably diverse Some are charming, others eccentric, some rude – every one of them with their own goals, goals and imaginations. Residents can do what they’d like to do, regardless of their role model.
During the three days Casey spends on the ship and the other passengers are living their own tales and stories that she could investigate. The characters move and act on their own terms in their own way, according to their own personal timeline sharing stories with one other, opinions; arguing with each other, joking and gossiping or engaging in conversation with Casey as she passes through.
Casey will look into the many tales of the airship and discover how her actions have an impact on them.
